Mathews T. Hamutenya
Mr Mathews Taapopi Hamutenya (MTH) is an entrepreneur and a focused visionary leader on a mission to live a life of legacy for future generations. He grew up in Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia. At a very early age Mathews began showing an interest in business ventures and today he is a well known business man and entrepreneur in Namibia.
Mathews hold a Post Graduate Diploma as well as a MBA from the Bradford University School Of Management. He is also a holder of a Financial Business Management Certificate from the Hoodland Height University in Cape Town. His successes and accomplishments in the entrepreneurial and leadership world have attracted much recognition by local and international observers. MTH is the classical definition of success and possesses common characteristics that are shared by successful business people, which includes a strong desire to get things going.
The Namibian Business Mogul did not just get things going, he got things going and has made sure that they have taken him places and given him international recognition and awards.
In 2011, Millennium Investment Holdings (Pty) Ltd, under the leadership of Mr Hamutenya, received the Century International Quality ERA Award in the gold category in Geneva, Switzerland. Awards organised by Business Initiative Directions (BID). Through this, Millennium Investment Holdings was recognised for its commitment to quality and excellence, leadership technology and innovation that spruces up the success for Namibia in the business world.
CEO & Executive Director
Mr. Hamutenya was born in 1993 in Windhoek, Namibia. He attended his primary school at St Georges and his secondary school at Bishops Diocesan College in Cape Town, South Africa.
Mr. Hamutenya holds an Honors Degree in Business (Magna Cum Laude) from the United International Business School in Madrid, Spain. He completed a Diploma in Business Communication with the BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo, Norway. He also did an internship in International Business Relations, in Tokyo, Japan.
Mr. Hamutenya has completed a Corporate Finance Diploma in London at the European School of Economics.
Mr. Hamutenya has been fortunate to have lived in different countries around the world including Namibia, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Israel, Malta, Norway and Spain.
At a young age, he started working closely with his father, Mr. Mathews Hamutenya (Founder and Executive Chairperson of the Millennium Investment Holding Group), focusing on Strategic Business Development.
In 2016, Miguel Hamutenya was appointed as a Director with focus on Strategic Business Development within the Millennium Investment Group.
In 2019 Mr. Hamutenya has been appointed as Millennium Investment Group’s Executive Director.
Jacky Scholz was born in Cologne, Germany, in 1967. She grew up in Tsumeb, Namibia, and studied law at the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
Jacky holds B.Iuris and LLB degrees in law and an LLM in Constitutional Law. On 8 December 1992 Jacky was admitted as an advocate to the High Court of South Africa. Jacky commenced her career with the Department of Justice of South Africa where she was a State Law Advisor until her relocation to Namibia in 1996.
During the past decade she has provided legal consultancy services in a variety of fields with her main specialisation being commercial, energy, administrative and constitutional law.
She was appointed as a director of Millennium Investment Holdings (Pty) Ltd in 2007. She also manages Millennium Consolidated Consultancy Services cc (“Milenco”), a member of Millennium Group.
Jacky is also a member of the Namibian Biosafety Alliance and actively involved in the field of GMOs, biosafety and biodiversity.
She is the current Secretary and External Advisor to Association of Service Stations Owners (ASSO) in Namibia.
Abisai Nghimwenavali was born in Ohaingu village. In the northern parts of Namibia in the Ohangwena Region.
Abisai holds a Bachelor of Acounting degree that he acquired from the University of Namibia, where he graduated from in 2007. Hence Abisai has commenced his career with the NovaNam/Pescanova group Namibia in Luderitz for approximatelytwo years. Then went on to do his articles at Grand Namibia Public Accountants and auditors’ for three years.
In 2013 Abisai joined the Millennium group. Thus his combined experience in the finance and accounting makes him an exceptional hard and committed employee who fits in profoundly into the group’s philosophy. Abisai aspires to become an entrepreneur and professional skilled leader.
Abisai’s work and life motto’s are: to be humble, disciplined, a clear and effective communicator and to be a democratic leader but most importantly to embrace knowledge and oppose ignorance.
HR & Admin Manager
Kondjeinasho Haufiku was born January 29, 1985 in Nyango Zambia. After Independance her family returned to Namibia when she was 5years old where they lived in Ongwediva for 3years before permanatly settling to Windhoek in 1993.
Kondjeni joined the Millennium Investment Group in 2002 at just the tender age of 17 taking up a position as the company receptionist. 4 years later she was promoted to Personal Assistant to the MD the post of which she held till the better part of 2012 when she given the task and role of setting up and managing the company’s Human Resource department, as the HR Manager.
In 2009 she graduated with a National Diploma in Public Relations from than the Polytechnic of Namibia. She is also a holder of a Bachelor Degrees in Humans Resources Management which she obtained from NUST in April 2017 and plans to pursue her Honors in 2018 and eventually her Masters thereafter.
Having been with the company for over 10years, she not only hope to continue being a major contributor moving forward but also help implement & successfully foresee policies that will not only help strengthen the Groups workforce in terms of HR but its continues growth & success.
